We sat down with John Boyd Jr., a farmer who gave me an inside look at current farming conditions facing America and what we can expect in terms of food shortages and price increases here in the United States in the coming months.
With the rise of inflation in recent months, farmers have seen their fertilizer costs more than triple from this time last year along with a doubling in the price of diesel fuel and an increase in seed prices.
To meet these cost increases and to save the family farms that are the backbone of our domestic food supply, Boyd is calling on the Biden administration for an increase in the availability of farm operating loans.
